On 27-28 November 2019 Operational Controls team experts visited Polish-Ukrainian border crossing point in Dorohusk and Hrebenne . The site visit was organized within the scope of “Joint CELBET activities” (JCA6). The aim of the visit was to get feedback about ongoing JCA6, opinions and recommendations for updating the activities and deliverables of the team.
Experts observed customs control procedures at the BCPs, discussed local risk assessment process and threats, usage of equipment as well as cooperation aspects with Border Guards.
Representatives of BCPs provided CELBET experts with information on smuggling particularities within local and regional area, also shared with very valuable ideas and suggestions for future joint CELBET activities.
Operational Controls team experts are very grateful to Customs Department of Polish National Revenue Administration for their support and great organization of the visit.
