International Sniffer Dogs Training took place in Training Center in Gajary, Slovakia from 6 to 10 of June.
A pair of dog handlers from Greece and Poland, a training instructor from Lithuania and representative of Financial Administration of the Slovak Republic had the opportunity to train in a different environment for 5 days. This gives the participants a chance to experience unusual situation that differs from their typical daily duty.
The training was composed of the exchange of theoretical and practival experience and use of dogs to search drugs, psychotropic substances, tabacco, tabacco products and cash.
At the end, participants received a certificate confirming their ability to perform special sniff work. The cooperation between K9 teams is mutually beneficial and it still develops at the international level of smuggling combating.
