One of the CELBET management meeting was held in Bucharest on March 26-27. 2018 r. Mr. Nicolae PIETRAREANU, Vicepresident of National Agency for Fiscal Administration on customs matters and Mr. Claudiu Marius ATOMEI, DG were hosts of the first day of the meeting . One of the conclusions of the discussion was that Romanian Customs relies on the CELBET to find the solutions in exchanging information, and expressed the importance of CELBET efforts.
CELBET management was informed that Romanian customs moved from last decade from tax collectors to service that ensure safety on the border. The last decade customs administration acquired new responsibilities, products and international sanctions.
