Head of CELBET Andras Bartha attended the 26th Annual Task Group Cigarettes Conference organized by OLAF on 10-11 of October in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
The overall aim of the conference was to exchange information about recent developments, strategies and trends in the area of cigarettes smuggling. The event was also an opportunity to discuss the enforcement measures in order to improve effectiveness and cooperation in the field of cigarettes smuggling.
Head of CELBET was one of the speaker on the panel discussion on new trends / modus operandi that is linked to the war in Ukraine. Mr Andras Bartha presented the experiences of CELBET on cigarette smuggling trends.
