The proof of strong support for Ukrainian Customs Authority have been delivered by CELBET experts and EUBAM – EU Border Assistance Mission to Moldova and Ukraine who on 5.03 organized special and tailored to the Ukrainian customs officers Synchronised Checks webinar.
The webinar was attended by 87 customs officers from Kyiv, Odesa, Vinnitsa and Chernivtsi, and from the Department for Specialized Training and Canine Services. Ukrainian officers dove deep into best practices, created, tested and implemented by CELBETCooperation team in Estonia and Lithuania.
Real examples, from EU external border, help them to understand the core of the idea of Synchronised Checks and know a real feedback from the border crossing points.
Experts from the Estonian Tax and Customs Board Nikolai Voronin and Ants Kutti, have shared border coordination techniques and efficiency improvements that positively influence border traffic flow.
