On Monday, 17 of May, members of CELBET Steering Committee participated in online meeting.
Meeting was opened by Mrs Magdalena Rzeczkowska, Head of National Revenue Administration of Poland, who underlined that despite of pandemic challenging times, CELBET did not slow down. She also highlighted that the team’s reports show chance to improve cooperation with agencies like Europol, Frontex.
Mr Dominik Schnichels from DG TAXUD expressed his satisfaction from the CELBET team work and shared his opinion about excellent working methods of teams, which should be extended to maritime and ports.
Head of CELBET Mr Jyrki Linna, underlined that CELBET needs to develop horizontally and gain new friends of the project. Sharing deliverables, real feedback and real action will be the main points in a new approach.
Mrs Michelle Perolat from TAXUD, said that CELBET is proving that Member States are working together on the ground. – Other Member States, from out of CELBET, are very interested in your work. It is important to share your messages, methodologies not only on CELBET level. I see the possibility of sharing your methodology – she added.
Team leaders presented their work results and plans for the nearest future.
Next Steering Committee meeting is planned in November in Warsaw.
