First Train Search training in Latvia has started.
Customs officers from 11 countries: Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Romania and Sweden are learning how effectively control the trains.
Place of the training is special. It is organized in a newly established CELBET Center of Expertise on Train Search in Daugavpils, Latvia.
The trainers are from Lithuania and Latvia, also from railway border crossing point in Indra, who are highly experienced in searching the trains.
Training give the trainees opportunity to test their knowledge and skills on the Indra border point. They have also an unique chance to see how the trains are produced thanks to the visit in the famous train factory in Daugavpils.
