On 12.08.2020 an X-ray train-the-trainer training course was held at the National Tax and Customs Authority in Hungary. The course is based on the international training organised by CELBET and the information from the X-ray Image Library on the CELBET Training Platform.
The purpose of the training was to train local trainers who provide training for X-ray operators working in their field of competence. The specialty of the programme for instructors is that, in addition to developing skills to improve image analysis knowledge, it also covers the development and maintenance of the professional motivation of X-ray operators.
The sharing of experience from international cooperation significantly contributes to the professional development of X-ray operators’ skills. For this reason, the Hungarian customs authority built its training programme on the material and methodology of X-ray train-the-trainer course organised by the CELBET Training team. Furthermore the training programme was also based on the knowledge acquired from the continuously expanding X-ray image library coordinated and launched by the CELBET Equipment team and established by the Slovakian IT experts from the Centre of Expertise for e-learning on the CELBET Training Platform.
Since 2020 CELBET knowledge-based X-rays have been part of the regular customs education system in Hungary.
